Jackson State Tigers at Tennessee State Tigers

A ton of new faces in Jackson this year as the Tigers begin their 2026 campaign against the Tigers of Tennessee State. The passing and receiving combo of Lockhart and Rembert return for Jackson State as does Kam Sallis, the preseason SWAC Defensive Player of the Year. Tennessee State HC Reggie Barlow has his hands full. Last year the Tigers posted an abysmal 2-10 record. The talent level at TSU hasn't changed much and I see more of the same this year, starting tonight with a loss against JSU.
