Lagway, Dabo, Lane, and ... 8 Other Things
  1. DJ Lagway arriving in Waco has got to be the story of the year. Baylor has been a quarterback away since RGIII left, this could be their guy, this could be their time and with a defensive mind like Aranda, big things could be in the offing down on the Brazos.

  2. The seat in Clemson is getting hot, and our friend Dabo has to make some changes or change his address. He's been resistant to NIL and thinks the NCAA needs to put some guardrails in place to regulate this new reality ... meanwhile, the college football world just keeps spinning.

  3. DALL has the best offense in the league and a defense that will be vastly improved. If they can manage the injury bug and keep the distractions at bay, the Cowboys could be a force.

  4. CIN is going to surprise a lot of folks and playing in the AFC North. Every other team is going through a serious transition while the Bengals could be the team to beat and a whole lot more ... if they get an offensive line.

  5. I like, make that love the Lane to LSU thing, but feel like he's going to need a year to get things right, but if anyone can get the team moving and competing for a natty in Year 1 it's Lane so let's all stay tuned.

  6. Matt Campbell played his cards right and left at the right time for the right job. Honestly, he couldn't have timed his exit from Iowa State any better because the man had done all he could do at that stop.

  7. That Georgia defense is going to be sick again this year and that's enough to make every offensive coordinator and quarterback on their schedule feel the same way: sick.

  8. The window of opportunity is beginning to close out in SF and with LAR and SEA both looking like Super Bowl or bust, hey, it could already be closed.

  9. When Lane brings LSU back to Oxford to face Ole Miss that environment is going to be one for the ages ... and to top things off, it's a night game. Yeah, that one is going to be delicious.

  10. A lot of good teams in the league this year, but the 1972 Dolphins have nothing to worry about.

  11. The Rams with Myles Garrett and their revamped secondary and the potential return of Aarron Donald, are going to be scary good ... even if Donald decides not to return.
